It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Kisoro Institute of Health Sciences. Our institution stands as a beacon of excellence, dedicated to addressing the pressing healthcare needs of our community and beyond. Established to promote the training of nurses and midwives, our mission is to bridge the existing gaps in health education, particularly in maternal and childcare services.
Our commitment to quality education is unwavering. We have forged strong collaborations with private organizations and individuals through public-private partnerships to expand quality health training to the community. This collaborative approach ensures that our students are equipped with the necessary competencies, skills, attitudes, and knowledge to build a resilient healthcare system capable of meeting both local and international health needs.
As we embark on this journey together, I encourage our administration, faculty, staff, and students to adhere to government guidelines and maintain open lines of communication with the Ministry of Education and Sports. The ministry remains committed to providing technical support to ensure that our institution fulfills its mandate effectively.
